N,N-DIISOPROPYLETHYLAMINE
Some types of reaction requiring an auxiliary base
Recovery & Recycle Recovery and recycle of N,N-Diisopropylethylamine is relatively straightforward because of its low solubility in water. N,N-Diisopropylethylamine can be simply extracted from water-immiscible organic reaction media, as its salt, in the aqueous phase. Alternatively, separation as the azeotrope, which layers into 99.8% purity N,N-Diisopropylethylamine and a water phase containing 0.4% of N,N-Diisopropylethylamine, gives high purity, recovered reagent.
Full recycling process details are available from Whyte Chemicals under license to our customers. |
